CONCLUSION v. Getting water data right is a major challenge requiring cautious planning, investments and implementation strategies v. Water data information systems will be most effective when implemented with functionality, maintainability, spatial enablement and dependability v. Absence of common data formats, lack of stakeholder involvement, telemetry instrumentations maintenance are the key concerns in keeping the system updated. v.
