Scope of Work • Inventory the number of faucets and fountains in District’s schools,

Scope of Work • Inventory the number of faucets and fountains in District’s schools, offices, and other facilities − Completed by GLE on March 2, 2018 • Complete a Plumbing Profile for each building • Create a Sampling Plan based on the results of the inventory and plumbing profile − Develop an after hours schedule for flushing and sampling − Flushing 8 to 18 hours before sampling – CCPS Personnel − Sampling - School with 30 outlets – 2 hours – GLE Personnel 2017 GLE Associates, Inc. Sampling • Collect one water sample – First-Draw Samples • Stagnant water before any flushing or use occurs • Submit to a Laboratory for analysis of lead and copper (EPA Method 200. 8) • Results within 5 to 7 business days • Report to CCPS immediately if any results are identified at or above 15 parts per billion for lead and 1300 ppb for copper • EPA Recommends water fountains and/or outlets be taken out of service if the lead level exceeds 20 ppb • Take corrective action, as necessary • Final Report 2017 GLE Associates, Inc.
