DEFINITION ► Conditional Sentence is a sentence that express a wish, hope, plan, etc. ► Conditional Sentence is used to express real (factual and habitual) or unreal condition (contrary to the fact).
Clauses of Condition ► Main Clause (Induk Kalimat) ► Sub-Clause (Anak Kalimat)
Conjunction ► If ► Unless ► Otherwise ► Provided that ► On condition that ► Only if ► Even if Usually conditional sentences contain the word If
Types Of Conditional Sentences ► There are three types of conditional sentences : 1. Type I (Future Condition) 2. Type II (Present Condition) 3. Type III ( Past Condition)
Pattern Of Conditional Sentences ► Type I I (Future Condition) If-clause Future Simple Condition Present S + V 1 (s/es) S + is, am, are Main Clause Fact Present Future Maybe + Pres. Future S + will + V 1 Perhaps + Pres. S + will + be Future
Examples If I have the time, I will go if I have the time. (Fact : Perhaps I will go) 2. If the mobile phone is cheap, I will buy it. I will buy the mobile phone if it is cheap. (Fact : Maybe you will buy it) 1.

Examples 1. If we had enough money, we would take a vacation. ( Fact : we don’t take a vacation because we don’t have enough money) 2. If I were you, I would get more rest. (Fact : I am not you so I don’t get more rest).
