New Courses This Year WLS-3071/3072 – Spanish for Spanish Speakers World Language/CTE Credit Ideal for students where Spanish is frequently spoken in the home SSH-3110 – Sports & Society Social Studies Elective Focus on the role of sports in our society. Topics such as women’s rights, civil rights, and sports as an expression of patriotism will be discussed. SCB-3040 – Basics of the Human Body Life Science Elective Students will gain a basic understanding of the body’s structure and its functions. PEP-3250 - Total Body Wellness PE Elective Develop personal fitness goals, improve cardiovascular fitness through circuit training, Pilates, yoga, and Tai Chi.
