The Need ● Hourly staff is underpaid. The district struggles to fill several of these positions. You have seen the signs for bus drivers. ● Teachers can make annually $15, 000 - $20, 000 more by working in a neighboring district to the east. ● In an effort to maintain current services and balance the budget the district has reduced expenditures by over $1, 000. ● Reduced hours for hourly employees ● Cut 11 teaching positions – 5% of district paid teachers

Ballot Language Proposition W Shall the Board of Education of the Reorganized School District No. 3 of Warren County, Missouri, be authorized to increase the operating tax levy by $0. 3900 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation for the purposes of attracting and retaining quality certified staff and support staff, and meeting additional operating expenses? (If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating tax levy of the District is estimated to increase by $0. 3900 from $3. 6159, currently, to $4. 0059 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation for the 2020 Tax Year and can be applied to the assessed valuation for each year thereafter. )
