Pick TWO of your Abstract Nouns… • Turn them into two theme statements… (12 minutes) • They have to… – Be COMPLETE SENTENCES! – Contain at least one ABSTRACT noun (>1 is great!!) – Be a lesson/truth that “HB” was trying to tell us – Don’t include the characters, but rather what can we LEARN from them? • E. g. 1. ) Brainwashing ruins family relationships (two abstract nouns); 2. )Power in government needs to be limited. • If you use TWO abstract nouns in one statement, you don’t have to write the second.
