Warm- up • On this day in 1894, Hershey’s Chocolate Company was founded. If the President of Hershey’s asked you to create a new Hershey candy product, what would that product be? Don’t forget to include the ingredients, the candy’s name, and the type of packaging your new product.

Remember: • Actors were not viewed as being popular (unlike today!) • An actor was a poor person who had no skills or set trade (blacksmith, etc. ) • Some actors did multiple trades in order to make more money (bellows mender, etc. )

Preview the Scene • Use the following comic to “preview” the scene. • Then answer the following questions on the sheet of paper from yesterday. 1. Which plot line is happening in this scene? 2. Summarize the actions of the scene 3. How would you describe bottom? 4. Where are they going to rehearse the play?
