Assignment Try to follow Buddhist’s Eight Fold Path for 48 hours. • Description: A one pager is a single page response to your learning experience. It is a way of making your own unique meaning. It is a way to be creative and experimental. It allows you to respond imaginatively and honestly while being brief and concise. • Connections: A one pager connects the verbal and the visual. It connects the author’s thoughts to your thoughts. It makes connections between words and images. • • • What to do: Use unlined paper. Pull out 2 quotations from the notes and write them on the page. Draw at least 5 of the Eight Fold Path steps Scatter 5 -7 words or phrases around your drawing. These words/phrases should express your thoughts, impressions, or feelings about what you have learned. Make a personal statement about your attempt to follow the path. Ask a question or two and answer them. Put a border around the edges of the page. Make it symbolic, as related to the experience. Create the one pager in such a way that your audience will understand something of your thinking about what you have experienced. Use colored pens, pencils, or markers. The more visually appealing it is, the more your peers can learn. Write your name on the FRONT.
