My reason for excavating Warloka Site 1. The origin place of the Ngadha, Bimanese and Manggaraians (myths) 2. There are 7 potential location of archaeological deposits (my surface survey) 3. Result from previous excavation and colonial report

EXCAVATION RESULT Stone tools, potteries, stone wares, bronze bracelet, necklace, 7 Chinese coins, 3 skulls ( 1 man/40 -50 yo, 1 girl/14 -17 yo, 1 child/6 -8 yo), 2 incomplete skeletons. Stone tools (paleolithic, mesolithic, neolithic) Potteries (neolithic, bronze-iron age), form & style (Sahuynh Kalanay-Austronesia Stone wares (15 -16 Century), Thailand, China, Holland The graves and grave goods have similarity with Austronesian ritual tradition.

The villagers believe that the graves were their ancestor 4. It might the Austronesian as migrant live with the local people who still practiced prehistory life

Since the Manggarai have been conquered by Bimanese Sultan, might the excavated human remains have more close resemblance to the Bimanese or the Florenese? 3. Since the human remains were found in a cultural context of the Austronesian culture, might these have closer DNA with the Austronesian ancestors? “ 4.
