WALT write a narrative. Let's start! "Go and take these cakes to your Grandma, " said mum, "and don't go through the forest. Mum gave me the basket of cakes and said goodbye. For some reason, my dad had not come home that night, and I was desperate to get home quickly. So I took the short route through the forest. It would be an adventure! Excitedly, I made my way along the path into the gloomy, dark forest. After a short while, a met some very strange people. First, there was an unusual boy, who wanted to sell his cow. Next, I met A very bossy, and demanding girl with long, golden hair, who was desperate to try my cakes. I walked on feeling a bit uneasy. As I went further into the forest, I met a brother and sister huddled under a tree. They were lost and looking for their father. As I left them, I could hear the girl's desperate cries. The towering trees were like tall skeletons with bony hands trying to grab me. The forest had got darker and darker.
