Ephesians 4: 1 -3 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 2

WALK In Good Works - 2: 10 n Opposed to the Worldly Walk n ¡ Previously walked in trespasses and sin n ¡ Vs. 2; Romans 6: 1 -4 Walked in the lust of the flesh n n Vs. 2; Romans 12: 1 -2 Vs. 3; 1 John 2: 15 -16; Galatians 5: 16 ff Must walk in good works because we have been created in Christ to do these works – Ephesians 2: 10 4

WALK Worthy of The Calling - 4: 1 n Must maintain the unity of Spirit - vss. 2 -3 ¡ ¡ ¡ n n With a proper attitude – vs. 2 On the right foundation – vss. 4 -6 With Spiritual edification – vss. 8 -16 No longer walk as Gentiles – vss. 17 -19 Must put off old man – put on new man ¡ Vss. 22 -32 5

WALK In Love - 5: 1 -7 n When we walk in love, we give of ourselves - vs. 2; 2 John 1: 3 -6 ¡ ¡ n God gave His son - John 3: 16 Must walk as He walked - 1 John 2: 3 -6 Those who contend sexual immorality is “love” are deceived - vss. 3 -7 ¡ Homosexuals make this claim n ¡ Romans 1: 22 -28 Couples who “shack-up” claim “love” n This is “love” of a selfish lust - Romans 1: 24 6

WALK As Children of Light - 5: 8 -14 n Produces the fruit of the spirit ¡ n Prove what is acceptable to the Lord ¡ n Vss. 10, 17 Have NO fellowship with darkness ¡ n Vs. 9; Galatians 5: 22 -23 Vs. 11 Expose works of darkness - vss. 11 -14 ¡ Things hidden by ignorance or deceit n John 3: 19 -21 7

WALK Wisely - 5: 15 -21 n “Redeeming the time” ¡ n Understand the will of the Lord - vs. 17 ¡ n Must study and make proper application Not wise when drunk - vs. 18 ¡ n Using time wisely by serving God - vs. 16 A waste of time and results in shame Be filled with the Spirit that produces… ¡ ¡ ¡ Melody in the heart – vs. 19 Thanksgiving to Deity – vs. 20 Submission to each other in Godly fear – vs. 21 8
