2 Kings 18 : 1 -8 列王紀下18: 1 -8 Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign. 2 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah. 3 And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done. 1以色列王以拉的兒子何 細亞第三年，猶大王亞哈 斯的兒子希西家登基。 2他登基的時候年二十五 歲，在耶路撒冷作王二十 九年。他母親名叫亞比， 是撒迦利雅的女兒。 3希西家行耶和華眼中看 為正的事，效法他祖大衛 一切所行的。

2 Kings 18 : 1 -8 列王紀下18: 1 -8 4 He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan. 5 He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him. 4他廢去邱壇，毀壞柱像， 砍下木偶，打碎摩西所造 的銅蛇，因為到那時以色 列人仍向銅蛇燒香。希西 家叫銅蛇為銅塊。 5希西家倚靠耶和華－以 色列的神，在他前後的猶 大列王中沒有一個及他的。

2 Kings 18 : 1 -8 列王紀下18: 1 -8 6 For he held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. 7 The Lord was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him. 8 He subdued the Philistines, as far as Gaza and its territory, from watchtower to fortified city. 6因為他專靠耶和華，總 不離開，謹守耶和華所吩 咐摩西的誡命。 7耶和華與他同在，他無 論往何處去盡都亨通。他 背叛、不肯事奉亞述王。 8希西家攻擊非利士人， 直到迦薩，並迦薩的四境， 從瞭望樓到堅固城。

1 HAD THE RIGHT STANDARDS V. 3 擁有正當的標準 V. 3 • Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the sight of the Lord his God, as his father David had done. 2 Kings 16: 2 & 3 他登基的時候年二十歲，在耶路撒冷作王 十六年；不像他祖大衛行耶和華－他神眼 中看為正的事。（王下16: 2 -3）

2 PUT THINGS INTHE RIGHT PLACE V. 4 把事物安放在正當的位置上 V. 4 • All things dishonouring to God – removed 一切會令神蒙受玷污的事－除掉 • All things honouring to God restored 恢復一切會令神得著榮耀的事

3 CALLED THINGS BY THEIR RIGHT NAME V. 4 按事物的正當名字稱呼它 V. 4 • He broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan 他…打碎摩西所造的銅蛇，因為到 那時以色列人仍向銅蛇燒香。希西 家叫銅蛇為銅塊（直譯：尼忽士但 ）。

3 CALLED THINGS BY THEIR RIGHT NAME V. 4 按事物的正當名字稱呼它 V. 4 • Nehushtan – several interpretations – a piece of brass 尼忽士但－有幾個解釋－銅塊 • Some had called it a piece of God! 有些譯本稱它為神像！

4 PUT HIS CONFIDENCE IN THE RIGHT PERSON V. 5(a) 倚靠正當的對象 V. 5 • He trusted in the Lord God of Israel 他倚靠耶和華以色列的神 • A personal faith in His God 個人對神的信心 • You – trust in Jesus 你－信靠耶穌 • Put your confidence in Him 你要倚靠祂

5 WALKED IN THE RIGHT PATH V. 6 行走正當的路 V. 6 • For he held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him 因為他專靠耶和華，總不離開 • Where He leads us 那是祂引導我們的地方 • Following – gradual progress – going on with God 跟從－漸進－與神一起繼續走

6 OBEYED THE RIGHT WORD V. 6(b) 服從正當的話 V. 6 • He kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. V 6(b) 他…謹守耶和華所吩咐摩西的誡命。 • He also heeded Isaiah the prophet 他也聽從先知以賽亞的話 • We now have God’s complete word – The Bible 如今我們有了神完整的話－聖經

7 SHOWED THE RIGHT KIND OF INDEPENDENCE V. 7(b) 展示出正當的獨立來 V. 7 • And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him. 他背叛、不肯事奉亞述王。 • He would not serve an enemy of God (tempted to-at first) 他不肯事奉神的敵人（起初受誘惑）。

7 SHOWED THE RIGHT KIND OF INDEPENDENCE V. 7(b) 展示出正當的獨立來 V. 7 • Are you a rebel? 你是個反叛者嗎？ • Make sure you rebel against God’s enemies and not against God. 要確保自己反叛神的敵人而非神。
