Walk in assembly • A factory diagram is used for installation • Plastic or a thin insulation is placed between the concrete and walk in floor to prevent condensate from rusting out the floor panels • Floor must be level, use shims if needed • When sealed concrete is used for flooring a cove base must be installed prior before installation occurs • Panels must be flush and level for proper alignment • Uses internal cam locks to latch panels together, Hex key is used for this application. • Cap Hex key holes when installation is complete • Note* Walk in’s will need city inspectors approval, consult local codes

Evaporator • • • Some will have multiple fans Fan motors are generally measured in Watts Should be mounted 12” off of wall Constructed in aluminum cabinets Metering device and electrical connections are accessible from end panel Has condensate pan & drain port NOTE: Evap. that are used in freezers will have heaters in coil & pan for defrost cycle. Drain will need to be wrap with heat tape and insulated.

Defrost mode • Controls duration time • Compressor and fans are de-energized • Has a set defrost time to remove unwanted ice • Can have multiple defrost cycles in a 24 hr period • Can have manual or electronic clock • Try setting defrost cycles during non peak usage hrs

Walk in doors • Has gasket material around edge of the door to seal the entrance • Gaskets can be replaced • Has hinges on the corners, they can be adjusted for proper closure • Freezers have door heaters • Door must be kept closed when not in use to prevent cooling loss and evap. coil from freezing • Walk in doors are very durable, must have a safety latch on the inside of unit
