Who lives in wales? Did you know there are 3 times more sheep /lambs than people. My mum comes from wales and some of my family still live there. My best friend Luke lives there too. The population is just over 3, 000 people.

St Davids day traditions St Davids day is on the 1 st March On that day girls in wales would wear the traditional costume once worn by rural woman in wales. Boys wear flat cap and waistcoat or rugby/football kit. The daffodil is the national flower, but the leek is also a national symbol. On St Davids day you would wear a daffodil or a felt leek on your top like we do on poppy day. On St Davids day you eat flat scones with currents in dusted with caster sugar these are called welsh cakes.
My mums class dressed up for St David's day when she was 7 or 8, she is the one holding the daffodils on the back row next to her teacher Miss Ashby.
Why would you visit Wales? For me to see my family and friends and go to the beach, I love Barry Island. Rugby Matches, lots of people go to Wales to watch Rugby and support their team. Eisteddfordau (eye-stethvod, eye) the festival of wales that celebrates welsh literature and music. To go climbing in the Brecon Beacons. Mount snowdown is the highest mountain in Wales and the most well known it is 1085 m (3560 ft) high Water sports like sailing or fishing on some of the rivers eg Taff, Clwyd, Conway or Usk. Also surfing at the beaches Explore history in castles. Museums, welsh villages and along the coastline as Merlins cave is in wales. Caving, Wales has lots of good coastline and the deepest cave in Britain Ogaf Ffynnon Dddu its 1010 ft (304 m) deep. Lots of people visit wales to go camping and visit the beach.
