Homeless Veterans • 22 Veterans commit suicide every day • 2014 -2015 – Number of Homeless who are Veterans • National Average = 24. 8% per 10, 000 • Indiana Average = 19. 3% per 10, 000 • 17% Per 10, 000 of Homeless are Chronically Homeless • 12 consecutive months of homeless • 4 episodes of homeless of 12 months over a 3 year period • Chronic disability impacting daily living

Homeless Veterans • 90. 3% of homeless Veterans are Male • 8. 9% of homeless Veterans are Female • 33% served in Active War Zones • 53% of homeless Veterans are Disabled • 50% suffer from Mental Illness • 66% suffer from Substance Abuse

The Journey Home Mission To make Veterans Our Priority. To end Veteran Homelessness. To provide stability, support and interventions so that chronic homeless Veterans attain housing and independence.

Our Story (2019) • Took 58 homeless Veterans off the streets • Assisted 36 Veterans into housing • • 27 Veterans into permanent housing 9 Veterans into intensive treatment • Case managed 36 Veterans into VA Benefits • Case Managed 36 Veterans into Non-VA Benefits.
