Lineups are due 2 minutes prior to the end of the prematch warm-up and 1 minute prior to the start of subsequent sets. • Review the lineups to ensure that a Captain is indicated, no duplicate or illegal numbers are entered and a Libero number is noted. Notify the R 2 of any discrepancies. Record the lineups on the score sheet • • • Enter the uniform numbers of starting players in the proper service order. Provide line-ups to the R 2 and Libero Tracker. Turn lineups, score sheet and tracker sheet upside down until 2 minutes left on the warm-up clock and 1 minute left until start of subsequent sets. At that time the visiting scorekeeper may see the line-ups.

During the set: Record individual and team scoring and supervise the operation of the visual scoring device. • Each square on the score sheet represents one play or action such as a serve, substitution or timeout. • Points scored off the serve are recorded in the square and slashed in the running score section. • If a serve results in a loss of rally, a point is awarded to the receiving team and boxed in both the individual & team scoring sections. • As each point is scored, the appropriate number should be marked in the running score section. • Use a different color ink/pencil for subsequent new rotations in the individual points section and the running team score. • Record the final score of the set and confirming the individual section matches the running score. The scorer and libero tracker are part of the officiating crew. No cheering or comments about play shall occur at the officials’ table. Begin Play
