Allow (verb) • To let do or happen; permit Chinese: 允许, 承认 • Example: We allowed for the difference in nationalities.
Behave (verb) • To conduct oneself in a specified way Chinese: 行为表现 • Example: Scout behaved very well last night.
Charge (verb) • To impose a duty, responsibility, or obligation on Chinese: 装满, 控诉, 责令, 告诫 • Example: He is in charge of this department.
Gain (verb) • To increase; grow: gained in experience and maturity Chinese: 得到, 增进, 赚到 • Example: The new mayor gained love and esteem of all the citizens.
Kill (verb) • To pass (time) in aimless activity Chinese: 杀死, 毁掉, 杀伤 • Example: I killed time by reading a magazine.
Native (adj) • Existing in or belonging to one by nature Chinese: 本国的, 出生地的 • Example: She has the native talents of music.
