Acknowledge: (verb) admit, recognize as Sentence : At the end of the trial , the jury were asked to acknowledge the witness as guilty of crime.

Adulation: (noun) admiration, respect Sentence : During the Oscar awards , the actor was kindly accepting the adulation of the crowd with delight.

Adversary: (noun)Enemy, opponent, foe. Sentence: Although Laertes was Hamlet’s adversary in the fencing bout, they still exchanged forgiveness before they passed away.
