1. disruptive loss: an event that happens that has the potential to change an individual.
2. adaptation: the process of changing to fit some purpose or situation
3. generation gap: differences between people of younger generations and their elders
4. cultural gap: any systematic difference between two cultures which hinders mutual understanding or relations
5. discrimination: the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, esp. on the grounds of race, age, or sex.
