Vladka Meed was born on December 29, 1921 and died on November 21 2012. Achievements : Vladka Meed published her book (On Both Sides of The Wall) In 1972 in English , but was originally published in Yiddish in 1948. She was part of the resistance group during the Holocaust. She smuggled weapons across the ghetto wall to a resistance group she was apart of called ZOB also was part of the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
