English 3 CP Parent Letter Dear Parents and Guardians, Hello! My name is Christine Johnson and I am your child’s English 3 teacher for the 2018 -2019 school year. I am excited about starting my 9 th year in the classroom, my 3 rd as a teacher here at SHS. As we get ready to start the year I wanted to encourage you to take a look at the syllabus your child was given today in class so that you are aware of the information they were given about class rules, expectations, and necessary supplies. My next order of business is to get some basic information from you so that I can make contact with you soon and as needed throughout the year. It is so important to me as a teacher to have a positive working relationship with the parents of my students. Please fill out the bottom portion of this sheet and send it back with your child ASAP so that I can make that initial contact that I try to make at the beginning of the school year. I also want you to be able to contact me if you have any concerns. I invite you to join my Remind 101 group that is specifically geared toward parent information.
