This provides an area that you can place 8 or 12 inch sieves, which can be moved under the optical axis. A collimated white fluorescent backlight is provided to illuminate the sieve openings and the wire mesh. The zoom tube has repeatable detent settings for adjusting optical field of view. Our automatic imaging software package measures all visible openings and wire diameters and documents compliance with ASTM E 11 standard. The number of field captures for each sieve is userselectable and total number of diagonal openings for all images is displayed. This data is automatically exported to an Excel spreadsheet with full statistical analysis.
