The name of school l The School was awarded January 13 th school name after historical events in 1991. l January 13 is the date, when 3 of our school's students, and two parents were killed near the TV tower during the whole night defending the independence of Lithuania.

There are: • 40 teachers • 3 pupils’ support specialists • 330 students

l There is ten-year-class Primary education in our school School and one year preschool classes. 1 -4 forms Basic School 5 -10 forms

l School begins at 8. 00 l Each lesson lasts 45 minutes l Breaks between lessons last 10 minutes, except 2 long time breaks. They last 20 minutes

Types of teaching l There are two types of teaching in our school: 1. Standard 2. Adapted ( facilitated curriculum for students who cannot study in accordance with standard teaching program which is formulated by the Board of Education
