WHO WERE THE VIKINGS? The Vikings were the people who lived from the 8 th century to the 11 th century in Scandinavia. They came from what today is Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. During the Viking age, they sailed around most of Europe, raiding, trading and spreading their influence.

WHAT DID THEY EAT? Vikings ate fish. Vikings ate veg

VIKING SHIPS They were all made from planks of timber, usually oak, overlapped and nailed together. The ships were made watertight by filling the spaces between the planks with wool, moss or animal hair, mixed with tar or tallow.
