Introduction / History ● Videoconferencing At Griffith Since 2000. ● Original Deployments Were Picturetel, and then Polycom , Tandberg/Cisco, since 2007. ● Since 2007, Tandberg/Cisco Equipment has Been Employed as Standard, in Line with Data Networking and Other Telecommunications Equipment (e. g. phones). ○ Has allowed for a Unified Collaboration approach. ○ GU’s Telecommunication and IT Devices can Integrate and Interoperate. ● In 2009, Original Infrastructure was Added. (MCU, TMS etc. ). ● Fleet Has Grown to 50+ ○ Meeting Rooms ○ Teaching Spaces ○ Over 5500 Video Phones ○ PCs and mobile devices via Cisco Jabber.
