Background �She was born on 1 January 1942 �Victoria was born in King William’s Town, eastern cape �She trained in Victoria hospital as a nurse �At King Edward hospital she got qualifications to work as a midwife �Her husband got many convictions, courtsanctioned bans and detentions during their marriage �She had 2 sons and 1 daughter

Work �Victoria studied law through UNISA �She became an attorney in 1981 and defended

Work �Victoria studied law through UNISA �She became an attorney in 1981 and defended many cases including her husband’s death, the Matolo raid and the Lesotho raid �She became a member of the Release Nelson Mandela committee(RMC) �Victoria sat at the executive of the National Organisation of Women(NOW)
