VFW Auxiliary “Buddy”® Poppy Assembly and Facts “Buddy”® Poppies are Assembled by Veterans in need and Disabled Veterans From each “Buddy”® Poppy Purchased for Distribution ü 1 ½ cents go to Department Veterans Service Fund ü 1 cent goes to VFW National Headquarters Veterans Service Fund ü 1 cent goes to the VFW National Home for Children The Funds Collected at your Poppy Drive go into the Auxiliary Relief Fund Unwavering Support for Uncommon Heroes®

VFW Auxiliary “Buddy”® Poppy Drives Post on your local town or city Facebook page. Create an event on your Post and/or Auxiliary Facebook Page. Contact your local television and radio station and ask them to promote your “Buddy”® Poppy drive on their Facebook page, station websites and event calendars. Post flyers at your local grocery store, library, coffee shop, post office, community center, etc. Put an ad in the newspaper to let the community know you are having a “Buddy”® Poppy drive.
