I am interested in this career because I love animals and working with them everyday would make working better. In order to get a better understanding of my career as a veterinarian I will be researching the nature of work, working conditions, training, qualifications, advancement, job outlook, earnings, and backup career.
Nature of Work Examine animals to diagnose their health problems Diagnose and treat animals for medical condition Treat and dress wounds Perform surgery on animals Test for and vaccinate against diseases Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments • Prescribe medication • Euthanize animals • •
Working Conditions • A veterinarian both mental and physical. • Its mental because you have to know what to do with the animal and all the health conditions they could have. • Its physical because you have to work with animals • Mostly indoors, animal hospitals or clinics • Long hours, up to 50 hours a week

Summary After researching the veterinarian career I'm still interested in this career. I will enjoy working with animals and taking care of them.
