Paper Erratum q O 1 Stochastic isotropic search paper: Upper Limits on the Stochastic Gravitational-Wave Background from Advanced LIGO’s First Observing Run Phys. Rev. Lett. 118, 121101 – Published 24 March 2017 • Mail by Andrew Matas on May 2 nd: "It has recently come to the attention of the stochastic group that there was an error in Figure 1 of the O 1 isotropic search paperhttps: //journals. aps. org/prl/abstract/10. 1103/Phys. Rev. Lett. 118. 121101. Essentially, in this figure we show an estimator for the energy density in the stochastic background multiplied by h 0^2, instead of the energy density in the stochastic background, where h 0=0. 68 is the Hubble constant divided by 100 km/s/Mpc. This does not affect any other aspect of the paper, including parameter estimation and upper limits. We are planning to submit an erratum to PRL. A draft of the erratum is on the DCC here: https: //dcc. ligo. org/P 1700092 • Deadline for comments: May 5, 2017 • Issue already presented to the stochastic group, as well as the DAC and LSC Executive Committee. VSC Meeting - May 03, 2017 VIR-0288 A-17 7
Publication Rules q The document we use as guidelines is called "LVC Publications Policies for O 1” (see https: //dcc. ligo. org/LIGO-M 1500298 ) q Everyone is assuming that these rules also stand for O 2. q To make things clear, we should rename the document to "LVC Publications Policies for O 1 and O 2”. q The proposed change has been discussed and approved in the LSC Ex. Comm on May 1 st. q VSC approval is requested. VSC Meeting - May 03, 2017 VIR-0288 A-17 8
