IMPORTANT On the quiz tomorrow, Friday, February 21 st, you will be asked to give the meaning of the word and identify what conjugation it is from. The vocabulary will come from the list that starts with accipio and goes to video and has English to Latin on the right side and how to form the tenses on the bottom. One of these is posted on the webpage for this week.

3 rd i and 4 th In the previous slide I put the forms for 3 rdi and 4 th in parentheses. The differences between 3 rd and 3 rdi and 4 th are very few. Go back to the previous slide and be sure you understand. Anyone who does not have this information on the folder for Latin I should add it. QUESTIONS? ? NOTE ON TRANSLATION OF PRESENT TENSE • Remember the present tense in English is more detailed. • We have three present tenses. • You can use any of these English present tenses to translate the Latin. • Here is an example. ambulamus – we walk, we do walk, we are walking The 2 nd and 3 rd translations are needed when forming questions.
