Jan Erik Aase, COP VP – Procurement Vendor Management Ameriprise Financial, Inc. Ø Jan Erik is a leader in the vendor governance and offshore outsourcing user community and is a frequent guest speaker on the subject. He was chairman of the BITS/Vendor Management working group in 2008 and is currently a Steering Committee member. He has earned the Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) designation from the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). He is a founding member of the Twin Cities Outsourcing Users Group, Ø Jan Erik is responsible for the enterprise vendor management and contract/billing audit teams at Ameriprise. His team manages the end-to-end vendor governance process for 3600+ vendors. He joined Ameriprise in 2005 at the time of their spin-off from American Express. Before joining Ameriprise, Jan Erik was VP – Resource Strategy at American Express. He began his career there in 1983. Ø Jan Erik holds an MBA from Brigham Young University and a BA in Organizational Communications from the University of Utah. Jan Erik, his wife Laci and their four daughters live in Maple Grove, MN.
