Project After the training, the candidates will work on a project in the domain of ADAS or Powertrain The tentative projects for the January program are: POWERTRAIN Ø Modeling and control of Active Limited Slip Differentials Ø Control and modeling of gear shift mechanism for an automated manual transmission ADAS ØModelling & design of FCW/AEB feature for Autonomous level 1 vehicle ØTesting of feature using MIL testing

EV Project Milestones The candidates will apply the MBD skills gained during the Project phase: Milestone Completion Flag Duration Literature Review 1. 2. Subsystems modeled using Simscape Test Rig created Individual component tests analyzed 3 days System Integration and Testing 1. 2 days 2. Subsystems integrated to develop the vehicle model Model behavior is tested and verified Controller Design 1. 2. 3. Functional requirements determined Controller architecture developed Control strategy optimized 3 days Controller Integration and Testing Integration of the controller with the plant model 3 days Analysis and Report Development 1. 2. 3. 2 days Results analyzed Future scope identified SAE/IEEE style report generated
