Product Overview Ø Scalable: May be used in configurations ranging from 8 E 1 Ports to 80 E 1 Ports. Ø May be scaled from 8 E 1 Ports to up to 80 E 1 Ports by adding additional interface cards. Ø Versatile: May be configured as a DACS or as a E 1 Multiplexer to provide E 1, Voice and data services. Ø Offers full cross-connect functionality to cross-connect between 64 Kbps timeslots (DS-0 s), “n”x 64 Kbps consecutive DS-0 s and Fractional E 1 channels to full E 1 channels Ø 160 Mbps, 80 E 1 fully non-blocking cross-connect at 64 Kbps (DS-0) level (2480 DS-0 any to any time-slot cross-connect) Ø Occupies 6 U high (264 mm) rack-space and is a complete 19 -inch standalone unit that provides a 64 Kbps time-slot (DS-0) cross-connect fabric for up to 80 E 1 ports 2
