Employee Time Entry for Hourly Employees In this topic you will learn how to enter and submit time as an hourly employee.

Click on “Self Service” in the menu on the left.

Click the “Time Reporting” link.

Click the “Time Reporting” link.

Click on the “Report Time” link.

Click on the “Report Time” link.

Click the “Timesheet” link.

Click the “Timesheet” link.

Click the drop down arrow in the “View By” field and select “Time Period”.

The dates for the entire bi-weekly time period now appear.

Key your start time into the “In” box on the appropriate line.

Enter the time you leave for lunch…

Enter the time that you leave for the day. Then click the drop down

For this demonstration, we will assume that the employee’s last day of work during this pay period is a half day on 3/24. You see that she has entered and saved her time each day up through 3/23. On 3/24 she enters her time worked, 8: 00 am to 12: 00 noon, and clicks the “Submit” button.

You receive confirmation that the timesheet has been submitted. Click the “OK” button.

As you can see here, hours have now calculated and the status is “Submitted”.

When you “Submit” your timesheet, the system automatically sends an e-mail to your supervisor
