Immersion • Valle Verde is committed to providing all students a true college experience to the highest degree possible. • -Actual college classes • -Actual college activities • -Actual college campus interaction • Students can earn up to 21 hours through dual credit classes (One year of Pre-Cal, one year of Calculus, one year of US History, one year of English, ). • Many, however, earn just 12 hours. The remaining 48 hours are earned at EPCC.

Online • All VVECHS families should have called 434 -0280 to indicate which type of learning you will choose once schools open their campuses. • If you have not done so, please do so tonight. • If you have done so, but wish to change your answer, please call our school secretary, Mrs. Elicerio, at 4341505 so she can update your preference. • Once schools open for face to face and you begin attending school physically or online, you will not be able to chance your preference until the end of the nine weeks.

D. ’s/Bus Passes, Electronic Device/Cell Phone Policy, Dropping classes at EPCC. • To understand that a VVECHS student may NOT drop from VVECHS Program mid year. • To understand that if your child drops or is removed from VVECHS or is referred to another school for any reason, your child will not be allowed to return to VVECHS.

House Bill 5 • House Bill 5 is the law that governs the required graduation requirements. • YISD students will go beyond House Bill 5 minimum requirements. • YISD students will continue a 4 x 4 curriculum (4 credits each of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) with additional requirements as defined by both the district and the state. • YISD students will graduate with a minimum of 1 Endorsement
