International Student Arrival • USU follows the CDC guidance to self-quarantine for 14 days after international travel. • Learn more on the USU website about how to quarantine. • Plan to arrive at least 14 daysvbefore USU classes start to avoid missing classes. • USU on-campus housing quarantine sign-up

Fall 2020 Enrollment Requirements • SEVP guidance • Fall 2020 guidance rescinded July 14, 2020 • No need to depart USA when classes transition to online after Thanksgiving • No requirement to issue updated v Form I-20 with remarks • Plan to register for full enrollment • Minimum 12 credits undergraduate, 9 credits graduate (6 if on assistantship) • At least 3 credits must meet face-to-face requirement We will provide further updates based on future guidance issuance

What if I can't return for Fall 2020? • We will terminate your program

What if I can't return for Fall 2020? • We will terminate your program for authorized early withdrawal. • We will issue you a new I-20 to return to USU to continue your program in another semester. • New SEVIS ID number, need to pay a new I-901 fee. • Will also limit your Optional Practical Training period if you do not enroll for at least 2 academic semesters upon return to USU. v • You can continue to study online from another country. • Notify usuintl@usu. edu (be sure to include your name and A-number) to change your coding to allow you to continue as an online student. • Submit the Leave of Absence form if you choose not to enroll and defer to another semester.
