SOCIAL LIBRARY PROJECT Goals Increase awareness of the library and its services with teens and throughout the rest of the community. Interact with users and potential users through social networking sites. Provide remote access to information and information sharing. Display to users that the library is a modern, flexible and ever growing institution and that it is user focused and committed to fulfilling user information wants and needs.

SOCIAL LIBRARY PROJECT Outcomes The library will see an increasing population of users on the social networking sites. Users will provide feedback to the library through the social networking sites. Users will be able to use the tools to access reference services and databases. New users and current users remain dedicated to the library.

SOCIAL LIBRARY PROJECT Summary The Social Library Project will become a means of bringing the library out into the community it works to serve. The project will help the library expand its ability to fulfill its mission by providing access to the sum of knowledge to an ever increasing and changing user population. The project will also help to modernize the library and to give it new life in an increasingly technological world.
