Know Your Options First! • UTA offers a wide range of majors in relation to the STEM field! • Make sure that you know your options first before taking random classes so that you can graduate in the shortest amount of time. • Keep in mind that basic core classes will be common for almost all majors.

Common Classes • Many Engineering programs have the same common lower tier classes • Ex: Calculus I/II or Physics • Core classes will also be a part of every major so it is best to keep in mind that these classes are absolutely necessary. • Ex: English, History, Political Science

Freshman Transfer Requirements • There is a 60$ fee to apply at UTA. •

Freshman Transfer Requirements • There is a 60$ fee to apply at UTA. • For Less than 12 transferrable credit hours, you must have a minimum GPA of 2. 25. • For 12 transferrable credit hours, the minimum GPA requirement is 3. 0 • For 13 -23 transferrable credit hours, you must have a minimum 2. 25 GPA. • More information at http: //www. uta. edu/admissions/_downl oads/general/application-checklist. pdf

Freshman Transfer Checklist • Thoroughly complete an application form (essay questions are optional). • Include the non-refundable application fee of $60. 00 (They only accept checks, money orders, or credit cards). • Request that an official transcript be sent directly from your high school to the UT Arlington Office of Admissions. The transcript should show your rank in class and completed or expected graduation date.
