Using Socrative with S 2 • From January to May 2017 • One hundred pupils in S 2 spent five minutes each form class • They answered questions on the Socrative App on their i. Pads, with no written working • Altogether over 28, 000 questions were answered!

Using Socrative with S 2 PROS • The pupils improved, and got lots of practice • It was quick to run each morning and generate results • The pupils were generally well drilled in their classes to complete the quizzes

Using Socrative with S 2 CONS • The initial preparation took me some time, writing all the different quizzes • A few didn’t try, which was hard to spot • The analysis is only approximate as different pupils were present each day, and the questions naturally varied in difficulty • The pupils got pretty fatigued by the end (45 mornings)
