Online vs. Traditional Classroom ▪ Current online course is recovery only. Students are 2 nd or 3 rd time through the course and are high risk of dropping out ▪ Online recovery course has a high pass rate, however, performance on district CRT is well below that of a traditional classroom. ▪ We look to utilize the Edgenuity online platform in the traditional classroom as a supplemental tool to help increase the pass rate of the traditional classroom, while increasing student achievement on district tests. Pass Rate Avg. District Final Edgenuity Online 87% 47% Traditional Classroom 78% 62% Classroom

Edgenuity Online • Module based learning • Self-paced through a weekly timeline • Captures real-time student data Classroom Design Small Group Instruction Remediation • Incorporate ACT style prep curriculum aligned to the course content • Provide quick student feedback • Capture lower students for remediation • Utilize both small group and edgenuity for remediation • Proficiency prior to passing, students are locked into a subject until proficiency is met • Small group tutoring allows for oneon-one face time with instructor and a more hands on approach to content understanding Classroom is three pronged: Edgenuity, Small Groups, Remediation The classroom will pace together through a weekly timeline based on module length. Small group and remediation will take place in during week, utilizing classroom time and resources like the advisory period.
