THINGS TO REMEMBER Right angle= 90 degrees = quarter turn Straight line = 180 degrees or 2 right angles = half turn Angles around a point = 360 degrees = full turn
Task 2 is the reasoning section of your work. Please make sure you are showing your calculations and explaining what you did and why you did it. If the answer is incorrect then explain why and what the correct answer would be and how you would find it.
Teacher model: For answer task 2 questions Read it carefully and see the steps I have taken. Explain in detail. If you are just giving the answers then it is incorrect. To calculate the answers to the angles we must remember that all the angles have to add up to 360 degrees. We already know that angle C is a right angles and therefore 90 degrees. Then we need to calculate what we are left with after we take out that angle to help us calculate the rest of the angles. 360 -90=270 degrees. Angle A is a third of a right angle which is 90 degrees divided by 3. Angle A is 30 degrees. Angle B is 4 times more than angle A which is 30 x 4= 120 degrees. B is equal to 120 degrees. Angle D is the same as angle B so it is also 120 degrees. A=30 degrees B=120 degrees C=90 degrees D=120 degrees. Now I can check if I am correct by making sure this adds up to 360 degrees. 30+120+90+120= 360 degrees.
