USAFA Main Exchange The Pikes Peak Yosakoi dancers pose in front of our beautiful display of traditional Korean Hanbok and Chinese Hanfu clothing. Yosakoi is a unique style of Japanese dance. It is so exciting to watch them perform; but even more fun to join in! 3
USAFA Main Exchange Lt. Col. Paul K. Maruyama’s book Escape From Manchuria tells an important part of Japanese-American history at the end of WWII that isn’t very well known. Sharing this piece of history with young and old has been Col. Maruyama’s goal and we were very honoured to have him attend our event this weekend. 4

USAFA Main Exchange Customers got to enjoy authentic Asian cuisine: Chinese fried rice, Philipino lumpia and Korean rice cookies. The children got crafty making Chinese paper lanterns with customer service associate Jennalyn. One young lady even showed us how to make a box lantern! 6
USAFA Main Exchange To cap off our Asian Pacific Heritage Event was a drawing for a handmade beaded bracelet and earring set; just in time for Mother’s Day! This lucky gentleman with Softlines Manager Jenn Herring, purchased a watch for his wife and wasn’t expecting a second gift for her. How lucky for both of them! 7
