EXPO 2015 = WORLD’S FAIR • Theme: Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life • Timing: May 1 st to October 31 st 2015 • Participants: 142 participating countries + Corporate pavilions (e. g. Coca-Cola, Apple, and many more) • Visitors: – 20 -30 million visitors expected (40% Italian) – 1 billion virtual visitors • Audience: business, government delegations, public institutions, regulatory authorities, policy makers, consumers • Importance: historical showcase of innovation and contribution to progress (e. g. light bulb, elevator, diesel engine, ice-cream, touchscreen, etc. ) • USA Pavilion: showcase innovation and responsibility as a core of America’s values

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATION • American Airlines can help drive programming content for exhibitions, TED talks, conferences and seminars (e. g. efficient fleet management, emission trading scheme, aviation regulation, capacity constraints at European airports, benefits of transatlantic anti-trust JVs, new route openings in Europe, and many more) • Engage with members of top US/European/Italian institutions and other government delegations from the 142 participating countries to strengthen relationships and discuss policies issues (e. g. Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership) • Display new products in the pavilion, e. g. sponsor one of the VIP meeting rooms or restaurant areas themed as American Airlines Admirals Club® lounges, showcase new business class seats, self-service kiosks to check-in VIP passes, sponsor VIP ‘boarding passes’, etc. • Become a content provider through sponsoring our visual guides on how transportation companies can contribute to reducing their carbon footprint • Use the USA pavilion’s VIP areas, conference rooms, roof-top terrace and American Restaurant for organizing business meetings, hosting receptions and meeting government delegations
