Laser time calibration • • • We measure the time difference between two channels in a cluster (CTR) Injection of a single channel moving over all 512 channels allows to calibrate the time offset Allows to calibrate to less than 100 ps, long time stable Verification of calibration with light injection system VCSEL 6

VCSEL injection system • • • Injection is less fast and less homogenous It is necessary to control the time alignment at every run Electronics board is in production 7

Status • Electronics is available to equip the 12 layers • Time calibration procedure is verified and allows to check time alignment for every run in test beam • Production of the 6 stations is ongoing, the procedure is verified and within 3 weeks production is completed • Development of a alignment and tracking software is ongoing 10
