About University of Zenica v State University v Established in October 2000 by the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton v Higher education in Zenica started at the High Technical School in 1959 v Since 1961, HTS acts as the Faculty of Metallurgy within the Sarajevo University v University of Zenica today: 8 faculties, 2 university centers, 3 institutes, 40 chairs, 5000 students, 414 academic staff, 47 study programs (26 BSc, 19 MSc, 2 Ph.
