STARTING POINT The activation of this European Master is starting from a long successful experience of 13 years Master “Manager of Pharmaceutical Departments” that trained more than 460 Pharmacists in Italy.

LEARNING AIMS Master is focused on the enrichment of the pharmacist of specific skills: skills scientific economic organizational useful to the management of Hospital Pharmacy within health care facilities

MASTER IS DIRECTED TO: Graduates in Pharmacy with experiences in the structures of the National Health Service or in pharmacies present in other health care facilities, interested to increase their professionalism with managerial aspects for purposes of career or updating. This Master will provide specific professional skills not offered by the traditional degree programs. It will satisfy the requirement to update the managerial skills for the continuous evolution of the knowledge, technology, tools of work and new methods of investigation and organization.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE DURATION ECTS One year 60 European Credit Transfer System Credits (ECTS). The program consists in - 7 Core Modules (52 ECTS) (6 -10 ECTS each); - Final written dissertation and stage 8 ECTS

PROGRAM STRUCTURE Official language of the Master: English. For some lessons simultaneous translator will be present. The course includes 175 hours of lectures. In addition to these lessons, each module will be supplemented by a practical activity inside the Hospital and by on line courses. It is expected to pass a final exam, including the discussion of a written dissertation on an experimental basis on one a more subjects of the course. The date of the examination will be scheduled by April 2016
