Army Service Component Command Juntos Podemos! – Together We Can! Army Service Component Commands (ASCC) are primarily operational units that serve as Army components for Combatant Commands. US Southern Command can designate US Army South as a Joint Forces Land Component Command or Joint Task Force. US Army South reports directly to Department of the Army and serves as the Army’s single point of contact for US Southern Command.
