A science GPA 3. 50 or greater will be considered. This includes but not limited to prerequisites, TEAS, and or any other pre-nursing requirements by the school • School must start in fiscal year applicant is applying for. UNITED STATES ARMY RECRUITING COMMAND AMEDD Commissioning Programs (AECP) • School letter: Unconditional vs. Conditional Letter of Acceptance • All letters must be accompanied with a DA Form 2125 (Academic Worksheet). Soldier signs both pages and academic advisor signs 2 nd page to include POC data entry • Conditional Letter of Acceptance must be within 9 semester hours (SH) of meeting all prerequisites at time of the packet deadline. Needs to state what classes are needed and how many SH for each class to receive an unconditional letter. If 10 -12 SH, a waiver will be generated. You are not allowed more than 12 SH by the packet submission deadline • School states in letter of acceptance, what agency has accredited them (NLN, CCEN, ACEN). Example: The NCLEX pass rate in 2018 was 97%, for 2019 it was 95%, for 2020 it was 96%. To locate this when searching for a nursing school, look at the state’s board of nursing report for the pass rate • Must include date soldier starts/tentative graduates for the BSN program. Needs MM/DD/YY. Helpful to also place nursing orientation date • Letter will state either the cost of each semester or a statement stating they will not charge more than $15, 000 per year • You will repeat steps for every nursing school you are accepted to include the letter of acceptance and the DA Form 2125 45 Serve with Purpose! Cannot take “filler” classes to maintain full-time status • Maximum of 2 online courses allowed in a degree completion program. Online classes within the nursing program must not be a laboratory class or clinical class • School must be within 100 miles of a military treatment facility. To locate this, go to http: //www. UNITED STATES ARMY RECRUITING COMMAND AMEDD Commissioning Programs (AECP) • How to Receive a Tuition Assistance (TA) Memo • Once you have received a letter of acceptance from an acceptable nursing school, you will provide the AECP program manger the following along with the documentation from the school of the required prerequisites: • The name of the nursing school you need the prerequisites to attend • The name of the school you will be attending for the prerequisites • The name of each prerequisite class with the corresponding credits for each class (Example: BIO 101 Introduction to Biology (4 credit hours).
