Data coverage Ø COMTRADE is the largest database on product trade flows with more than 1. 5 billion records (Nomenclature, year, flow, product, reporter, partner) Ø Yearly time series available from 1962 until 2008 in US dollars Ø Trade data available in HS revision 2007, 2002, 1996, 1992 and SITC revision 4, 3, 2 or 1 and BEC Ø More than 160 countries or territories have reported trade data for around 5300 different products in HS 6 -digits level Ø Source of data are mainly National Statistical Offices WTO data day, 19 May 2009 2
