Science - Morse The semester is broken into three parts. 1. The Nature of Science and Engineering (Scientific Method, Engineering Design Process, Scientist & Engineer Prezis) 2. Physical Science (Simple Machines Unit) 3. Earth and Space Science (Earth Movements Unit, Renewable/Non. Renewable Project, XCel Energy Project, Going Green Project)
Science - Morse Use Ms. Morse’s Website for Links, Files for Download, and What is Done in Class Each Day Ms. Morse also sends out e-blasts when important projects or tests are coming up. Most tests have an online link for practice/study.

Social Studies - Bell The Social Studies unit is one quarter in length. The learning goals of the unit are to: 1. Gain knowledge about the history of North America from its earliest civilizations through the end of the American Revolutionary War. 2. Learn the reasoning and basic principles of democracy behind the writing of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. 3. Develop inquiry, research, and analytical skills
Social Studies - Bell A link to the full list of the MN K-12 state standards (learning goals), is available from the Bell website. Lessons will be interactive and inquiry based, with an effort to keep homework to a minimum. E-blasts to parents will be sent in advance of projects or larger tests.
Spanish - Moravec Language learning in this class is structured in a question and answer format so that students are able to have dialogue in Spanish. Topics learned during this quarter are: months & dates, numbers, time, greetings, weather, clothing, body, descriptions, actions & activities, sports, emotions, food, school locations, classroom objects, family and professions.
Spanish - Moravec Use Ms. Moravec’s website to access links for additional language practice and an overview of the topics for the week. Notes, practice, and most homework are done through Google Classroom. Grades are based on daily homework, 2 tests - midterm and final, and a final project.
